Individual Social Responsibility (ISR) - Are you a good role model?

CSR has become an established strategic management of the company, but what about its employees? Is the good and worthy representatives of the company's values? It philosophise Flemming Poulfelt into a feature article in Berlingske Business. Flemming Poulfelt are daily Professor & Associate Dean at CBS Leadership Lab , Copenhagen Business School .
Flemming Poulfelts point is that being a role model involves (or should imply) a high degree of accountability when you as a role model representing a given field, like others look up to.
Flemming Poulfelt argue that the concept of Individual Social Responsibility should be introduced and used as an object of reflection, especially in those who assume a role model position.
According Poulfelt ISR should involve:
"To a person acting role model, consider the following three points:
- Durability: Is what I stand for, durable and sustainable in the longer perspective?
- Behaviour: Can the actions that underlie my position as a role model, and Other behavior, tolerate the light of day?
- Deserved: Do I deserve the position I have achieved? "
Personally, I very much agree with the above and it should be common sense for businesses to make the above considerations, since it is unreliable if its ethical considerations are not reflected in its employees' mindset. " It is simply not credible communication.
